Alidya®
Cellulite Correction
The first injectable solution specifically formulated to reduce and eliminate cellulite.
What is Alidya?
According to jabhealthlimited.com Alidya is a revolutionary injectable mesotherapy solution for the treatment and prevention of cellulite.
What is it made out of?
According to jabhealthlimited.com It is a specially-formulated solution with several compounds each working together to eliminate cellulite. Upon injecting it into the target area it immediately starts its multiprong attack to reduce cellulite by eliminating the factors which are thought to cause it in the first place.
Which areas can be treated with Alidya?
Any area of cellulite can be treated with Alidya. This is usually in the buttock and thigh areas.
How does Alidya work?
According to jabhealthlimited.com as mentioned before Alidya has a multiprong approach in eliminating cellulite. It involves:
- Solubilizing and eliminating secondary extracellular toxic elements that interfere with vascular microcirculation
- Alkalization of the extracellular matrix
- Improving tissue oxygenation
- Providing biological components for the restructuring of the extracellular matrix
- Normalizing the physiological function of adipose tissue
All the above result in effectively eliminating cellulite.
But, isn’t cellulite the result of being fat?
This is unfortunately a misconception and in reality not true. Cellulite results from a multitude of factors and completely unrelated to your body fat percentage. In fact there are individuals who are in their ideal body weight but still suffer from cellulite.
What does the treatment entail?
Alidya is given via mesotherapy injections. This means that the solution is given very superficially in the skin layer. In order to make the treatment even less painful an aesthetic cream is applied before hand. Each sessions lasts around 30 minutes.
How many sessions are required.?
According to jabhealthlimited.com the number of treatments depends on the severity of the cellulite and the individual. Usually 3-6 applications are required 1 week apart. In severe instances up to 12 treatments may be utilized.
What are the contraindications?
Aqualyx should not be given in the following circumstances:
- People younger than 18 years of age.
- People older than 65 years of age.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- Persons with a history of severe anaphylactic/allergic reactions
- People who suffer from serious organic or systemic disease including autoimmune diseases.
- Patients who have active skin conditions in the area being treated.
Is the procedure painful?
The procedure is nearly painless once the anaesthetic cream is applied. The pain is secondary to the mesotherapy injections applied to the skin.
How long does the effect last?
The effect usually lasts around one year but this varies from one individual to the other. It can be reapplied as needed.
What are the possible side effects of Alidya?
Alidya has an impressive side effect profile. Its side effects are the results of the injection method and not Alidya itself. Therefore bruises and haematomas can be caused and will resolve over time.
What should I avoid after treatment?
Avoid touching the injection site/s for the first couple of hours. Application of make up, cosmetics and heat (such as sunbathing, sun beds, prolonged hot showers) should be avoided preferably for the first 48hrs. Otherwise you can carry on with your normal routine.
How is the application of Alidya?
It is a minimally invasive non-surgical treatment to eliminate cellulite in which a topical anesthetic cream is first applied to the cellulite area, then Alidya is injected into the dermal layer or subcutaneous tissue with small punctures at a depth of 4-5 mm . The injections are made with a thin needle and are almost painless. In some cases, local or topical anesthesia may be used. The process is completed in a few minutes (approximately 20 minutes). The active agents present in Alidya activate many essential mechanisms in the tissues responsible for cellulite, such as unsatisfactory microcirculation, deposited toxins and tissue damage. The product also has an antioxidant effect and slows free radical processes, which are favorable for cellulite development. The number of treatments varies according to the degree of cellulite, region and age. To ensure that visible clinical results are needed, an average of 4-12 sessions are needed. The treatments are carried out at weekly intervals. It is recommended to repeat the treatment once a year to keep the result stable.
Downtime and recovery
According to jabhealthlimited.com there is usually no downtime after Alidya injections with no recovery period as it is a non-surgical minimally invasive treatment for cellulite. It is recommended to avoid use of any cosmetic product on the treated cellulitic area for 10-12 hours. We advise to avoid any rigorous physical activity (like swimming, gym or exercise), sunbathing and sauna for a few days. You can resume your daily routine almost immediately after the procedure.
Side effects
According to jabhealthlimited.com Alidya is a safe procedure to treat cellulite. The side effects may include some temporary bruising and swelling which can easily settle down by massaging the treated area(s) 2-3 times a day for only 5 minutes.
Results
Alidya injections work as follows:
- It dissolves toxins that are produced in adipose tissue in inflammatory processes.
- Improves lymphatic drainage of tissues.
- It improves blood circulation, which results in an osmotic drainage of the womb.
Therefore, when treating the cellulite area, it improves the structure of the skin and provides a smooth, firmer, more perfect and cellulite-free skin.
The treatment can be repeated about 5-12 times every 7-10 days until the patient sees the benefits or obtains the maximum result. The amount of treatment also depends on the patient’s need and the severity of the cellulite. Lasting results can be seen in approximately 2-3 months, but to maintain the results, maintenance injections are suggested that I will determine by Dr. Sergiu Vieru according to the evolution of each patient
Contraindications:
